Research clearly shows that exercise delays age-related declines in the ability to perform activities of daily living and improves physical function in older people living in Care Homes.

It can positively impact several clinical conditions that are often present in Care Home residents (eg, falls risk, cardiovascular diseases, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, diabetes, mood disorders), with a low risk of adverse health events.

Our Care Home Activity section programme provides a range of activities suitable for all levels of ability with options in position, level and duration.
